Yoga is a Chick-Lit standard. Heroines, busy with their work, balance all that stress and havoc on their bodies with Yoga, Pilates, and Yogalates (a mix of the two). Between dinners and drinks, diet cokes and chocolate, the Chick-Lit heroine completes the triumvirate of Eat, Pray, Love with some yogic soul searching and body stretching. On day 19, April begins a month-long morning yoga routine to see if it will help her live better. Of course, April throws in a characteristic twist by basing her poses on a Yoga Kittens calendar.
As you can see, laughing about Yoga was one of the biggest benefits of April’s cat-inspired yoga routine. We had a ton of fun with this challenge, but I’m actually a little bit afraid that April’s adventure here might be dangerous–even more dangerous than getting complete strangers to hug her! After all, while Yoga has been popularized as a health and fitness option, it has recently been getting criticism for being potentially dangerous to practitioners. I’m sure over the next few weeks, April will adjust her routine.
We’ll keep you posted!
